Daisy is the mom of this current litter. She is extremely friendly, quite athletic, and loves going for runs. Daisy is goofy, good natured, and always eager to please. I have trained her to bark on command which is very useful on farm, especially while feeding the calves! (See funny photos below!) To combat the hot summers, Daisy loves to jump into the nearby water troughs.
Rooster is the dad to this litter. He is the son of Bosco and Flye (Meet them below). He is mostly brown and has a tri colored face like his mom. He also has long hair like his dad. Rooster loves to work with my husband on our dairy farm, play with Daisy, and chase after rabbits. He is so kind, loves to be scratched/cuddled, and hardworking. He was the biggest puppy from Flye's and Bosco's litter and has proven to be a very good work dog.
Bosco is Rooster's father and is the pack leader. He is gentle, very loyal, quiet, and hardworking. We use him quite a bit on the farm as he is very good with the cows. He loves to work and loves getting groomed and belly rubs.
Flye is Rooster's mother. She is very small (about 14kg) and is very tough. Due to her size, she tries very hard to keep up and is very smart. She likes to get the other dogs to chase her and will take short cuts or will hide to throw the other dogs off her path. She is protective and Bosco has taken quite a liking to her. She is the top female dog.
Pam is one of our retired heading dogs. She is 12 years old and has been with us for 3 years now. She is quite a unique dog that loves scratches on her back and chasing after birds. She doesn't have much interest in cattle or sheep anymore but still enjoys going for long runs in the hills or paddocks. She is Pip's daughter.
Pip is our other retired heading dog and is Pam's mother. She is 16 years old and has been with us for 5 years. She is the most loving and loyal dog. A perfect day for her would be going for a short walk at the bottom of the hills and then getting cuddles the rest of the day. She has gotten slower in her old age but back in her prime, she was an incredible work dog that could run for endless hours.
Just kidding! I promise it's just water.
